What AsYouSpeak does

AsYouSpeak listens to a sales or discovery call, turns what your customer says into a living spec, and builds a working prototype before the call ends. To do that we need to process the words spoken on the call. This page explains exactly what we do with that data, and what we don't.

The transcript is processed transiently

Audio is transcribed in your browser, or you paste a transcript yourself. We send the transcript text to Anthropic to extract the spec and build the prototype. We do not keep the raw call audio, and we do not store the live transcript of a session as a permanent record — it exists only for as long as it takes to derive the spec and prototype from it.

What we store, and for whom

For paid users, the spec and prototypes you build are saved to your Library so you can come back to them. Those artifacts are stored in Vercel Blob (the generated HTML prototypes) and Upstash Redis (the spec, metadata, and your usage/budget counters). Free-tier sessions are not persisted to a Library.

How we identify you

Access to paid features is granted through an access code tied to an email address. We use your email to authenticate you and to associate your Library and usage with your account. We don't require you to create a password-based profile beyond this.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the product:

  • ·Anthropic — model provider that extracts the spec and generates prototypes from your transcript.
  • ·Vercel — hosting and Blob storage for saved prototypes.
  • ·Upstash — Redis storage for specs, metadata, and usage counters.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your transcripts, specs, or prototypes with third parties for advertising, and we don't use them to build a profile of you for resale. The only places your content travels are the sub-processors listed above, strictly to deliver the product to you.

Deletion

You can ask us to delete the prototypes and specs stored in your Library, along with the account record tied to your email. Reach us at privacy@asyouspeak.com.
